Changing the battery

Remove the empty battery and insert a new one (see Battery Compartment Lock). To activate the battery, remove the plastic tab.
It is recommended to peel the tab off the battery one to two minutes before battery insertion. This time is needed for the zinc-air battery to charge up completely.

After closing the battery compartment, there is a start-up delay of a few seconds followed by an alert tone to show that the device is ready to use.
Battery lifetime is usually one to two weeks. Only use size 13 zinc-air batteries (also called PR48 batteries).
