This position will support North American clinical research projects from study initiation through study close-out and/or publication. Support of research projects includes facilitating discussions with external investigators, evaluating study proposals and protocols, and providing clinical assistance to investigators. Throughout active studies this position will attend clinical and surgical research visits as needed as well as assist with study recruitment and data capture.
Additionally, this position will be involved in maintaining a knowledge of relevant scientific literature. This position will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate key findings of literature related to MED-EL key topics. A person in this position should be willing to accept special projects and responsibilities as needed. This position will also contribute toward the continual improvement of the Clinical Research team. Some travel will be required..
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and surgical support of North American clinical research projects from initiation through close-out
- Maintain knowledge of clinical research project requirements and regulations
- Assist in study planning
- Support study progress with recruitment, enrollment, attending clinical and surgical research visits, data entry, and data validation
- Assist in bench testing of research software
- Facilitate communication of key results of scientific literature with internal and external stakeholders
Position Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Audiology or hearing sciences or Doctorate of Audiology
- Knowledge of GCP guidelines
- Excellent computer skills, including an intermediate knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to organize and complete tasks in a timely manner

We are actively seeking a Customer Experience Business Analyst. The position represents a highly collaborative individual contributor role within the Customer Care Department (the Department). The position works closely with management to ensure that data is available to inform business decisions, analyze processes, improve upon the customer experience. The individual in this position must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to use data to tell a story, contribute to decision making, and improve service delivery.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain process-flow analyses/maps for the Department, and all handoffs to and from other functions within the organization
- Collaborate with the Department to:
- Develop a deep understanding of department responsibilities and job functions
- Identify areas for improvement in processes or service delivery
- Introduce and sustain process improvements
- Monitor the effectiveness of process & systems change

The Events Manager is responsible for all aspects of our Events Marketing efforts. This includes planning and execution of all meetings, conferences, conventions, and tradeshows, both corporate and 3rd party events. This person is also responsible for managing a small team of Events Coordinators. They will play a key role in the Marketing Department and will interface with multiple staff and vendors. We are looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team, is detailed oriented and has that whatever-it-takes attitude to ensure our events run smoothly and achieve objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute all aspects of our events.
- Develop and manage annual events plan and budget.
- Tracking and report HCP spending, as it relates to events, for regulatory purposes.
- Manage event management platform (CVENT) as well as our relationships with vendors (e.g., travel agents, hotels, car rental agencies, etc.).

- Required:

Primary Responsibilities:

The Marketing Administrative Coordinator is responsible for providing professional administrative support to the Marketing Department to facilitate seamless departmental and company operations. The North American Research Laboratory is looking for an engineer or scientist to contribute to the development and application of computational tools for hearing research and the advancement of implantable hearing solutions. This individual will also have an opportunity to contribute to the Laboratory’s human subjects research portfolio and be directly involved in the bench and behavioral evaluation of novel signal processing, sound coding, and other hearing-related algorithms, with a focus on those studies involving evoked potentials.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Research and technical support of research related to auditory prostheses
- Development and application of computational tools for hearing research and the advancement of implantable hearing solutions
- Preparation of technical reports
- Design and evaluation of algorithms related to stimulation and recording via cochlear implants and other related implantable technologies

Primary Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise on the anatomy, etiology, indications and contra-indications for all MED-EL products; stay current on developments in technology and relevant surgical approaches
- Understand varying surgical approaches and the surgical differences between competitors
- Demonstrate competency in operating MED-EL equipment and software for performing intraoperative device testing
- Develop valuable relationships with surgeons, all levels of hospital and hearing healthcare professionals providing services to candidates and recipients of MED-EL hearing solutions
- Identify the key elements in hearing device purchasing processes with assigned accounts; thoroughly know and understand the key decision-making components
- Possess professional engagement skills and demonstrate and discuss products and services effectively
- Participate in the development of new business which results in sales growth; deliver sales goals

- Required:
