Am I eligible to purchase an Service Contract?
Most MED-EL recipients are eligible to purchase an Service Contract if they have private insurance and it's not already covered under their homeowner's insurance or another third-party insurance.
However, you are not eligible to purchase a service contract if any of the following apply to you:
- You are resident of the State of Florida: Florida State Law prohibits the sale of MED-EL Service Contracts to FL residents.
- If you have a Federal or State Health Plan such as (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, Tricare, etc.): These plans provide coverage for most if not all of these services. You should verify coverage under your health plan, as each plan can have its own policy.
