Enas Hajeir
Medical Director & Speech-Language Pathologist
Dubai Healthcare City
The Medical Director and Speech-Language Pathologist at MED-EL Middle East Clinical Support Department in Dubai. She joined MED-EL Middle East in 2019, bringing with her a wealth of expertise. Enas earned her bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Jordan University of Science & Technology in 2007, and she obtained her Jordanian working license in the same year. She is also a licensed therapist under the DHA.
Enas furthered her education by earning an MSc in Language and Communication Impairment in Children from the University of Sheffield, UK. With over 17 years of hands-on experience in the UAE, she has been dedicated to providing personalized care and flexible learning approaches, guiding and supporting her patients with compassion and encouragement.
A trained Auditory Verbal Therapist, Enas specializes in working with children who use hearing devices, adopting a family-centered approach. She has a deep passion for working with children, recognizing each child as a unique gift. In addition to her clinical work, Enas supports other therapists in providing rehabilitation for children with hearing devices across various facilities and hospitals in the UAE and the broader Middle East. She is also actively involved in training other professionals, presenting at workshops and conferences.
Enas is a Hanen Certified Trainer and is bilingual, offering therapy sessions in both English and Arabic. Recently appointed as the Regional Rehabilitation Manager, she is eagerly looking forward to embracing future challenges with enthusiasm.

Mai Abdel Hameed
Office Manager

A very hard working and dedicated professional who is having bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is a confident person who looks for continuous self-improvement to achieve her set objectives in the workplace and in life.
Mai joined MED-EL Middle East in 2018 as a Patient & Clinic Coordinator. Recently, she got promoted to the post of Operations Manager in August 2022, and then promoted to an office Manager in June 2024 due to her continuous hard work and dedication.
Mai has a significant experience working in multiple places in Egypt and United Arab Emirates. Her scope of responsibilities included day-to-day clinical activities and liaise with patients and healthcare professionals. Mai has also been coordinating patient care plans, managing budgets, billing, appointing staff, and assigning tasks.
Mai has always been open to new challenges and achieved all the targets on time. With her passion, she is looking forward to always achieve higher goals and meet the best expectations.

Abeer Alqam
Speech & Language Therapist

Abeer is a Speech & Language Therapist who joined the team in 2025, bringing with her a strong academic background and a passion for supporting individuals with hearing and communication challenges.
Abeer earned her bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Jordan University of Science & Technology and completed her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Al Ahliya Amman University in Jordan. She is licensed by the Jordanian Ministry of Health and the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
With professional experience in the field, Abeer has worked closely with cochlear implant (CI) users and individuals with hearing devices, providing comprehensive assessments, and delivering individualized, evidence-based therapy plans. Her areas of expertise include Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT), articulation therapy, stuttering, and language and communication disorders.
Abeer adopts a patient- family centered approach, working collaboratively with audiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support patients throughout their hearing journey. She is dedicated to empowering families through counselling, education, and home-based strategies that enhance communication outcomes.
She is bilingual, providing therapy in both Arabic and English, enabling her to effectively support a diverse range of patients and families. Known for her compassionate and supportive approach, Abeer is committed to helping her patients reach their full communication potential through tailored and engaging therapy sessions.

Jahana Sherin
Audiologist
Dubai Healthcare City
Jahana Sherin is a DHA-licensed Clinical Audiologist currently working with MED-EL in Dubai, specializing in advanced hearing solutions and implantable hearing technologies.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology from Kerala University of Health Sciences, where she was awarded the University First Rank in 2022. She was also recognized as the Best Student Clinician at her college for her outstanding clinical performance.
Jahana brings over two years of clinical experience from Kerala, India, where she worked in ENT-based settings in close collaboration with ENT specialists and speech-language pathologists. She further expanded her clinical expertise in the UAE at NMC Royal Hospital, Dubai, where she was involved in comprehensive audiological and vestibular assessments.
She is experienced in conducting a wide range of diagnostic hearing evaluations for both pediatric and adult populations, as well as vestibular testing.
At MED-EL, Jahana is actively involved in cochlear and bone conduction implant services, including mapping, programming, troubleshooting, and auditory rehabilitation.
As a DHA-licensed audiologist in Dubai, she is committed to delivering accurate diagnostics and high-quality, evidence-based clinical care, with a strong focus on improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Moataz Adel
Receptionist

Moataz Adel is a results-driven professional with a bachelor's degree in business information systems, combining analytical expertise with creative and customer-focused experience across multiple industries.
He began his career at the National Bank of Egypt, where he spent five years developing a strong foundation in financial operations, client relationship management, and delivering exceptional customer service in high-pressure environments.
Expanding his professional scope, Moataz pursued his passion for creativity as a Graphic Designer at Passion in Austria, where he crafted compelling visual concepts and delivered high-impact design solutions that strengthened brand communication.
He later joined MED-EL as a Front Desk Agent, where he manages front-desk operations, supports clients, and contributes to spare parts sales and replacement processes. He is known for his professionalism, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.
Driven by a commitment to continuous growth, Moataz leverages his diverse background to create meaningful value, enhance customer experiences, and contribute effectively to dynamic, forward-thinking organizations.
