Remote Care Programme

MED-EL’s Remote Care Programme provides expert care and support to recipients with limited access to local clinical support staff or facilities. Our Remote Care Programme offers access to remote fitting, rehabilitation, consultation, and training through simple and inexpensive conferencing systems facilitated by the use of hosted web services.

Remote Fitting

Remote Training

With remote fitting by our experienced audiologists, we can provide fitting services for recipients who may not have access to an audiologist in their area. For a remote fitting session, the audiologist communicates with the CI user and a local assistant (a clinician or other support staff) through a VoIP connection and a chat function. The remote sessions are conducted in a manner similar to traditional face-to-face fitting sessions and can provide effective mapping with very high levels of satisfaction.1,2

We provide remote training for our Remote Care services to ensure that recipients and local support staff can easily and comfortably interact with our systems and our team. Our simple-to-use services minimise the need for extensive training or on-site specialist support.

Remote Consultation

For professionals, we offer remote consultation services to answer any questions you may have regarding our systems and services. We’re dedicated to providing comprehensive support to all of our professional partners.
