Be sure that the pins on the battery pack are clean, intact, and are not broken. Do the pins look intact? If not, click here. If the pins are intact, reassemble the processor and try again.

For this tutorial, we will be using the ALD device as an example of an audio device.
Only use battery-operated devices,
and not devices plugged into an electrical outlet.
Check the user manuals with the audio device or contact its manufacturer.
Do not force the pins.
Make sure the orientation is correct. Note the large hole and two smaller holes.
TIP: What is the difference between the yellow and red cable?
Be sure to insert it properly and that the cable is free of defects or broken pins.

Turn up the volume on your FineTuner.

Your FineTuner may not be properly synced with your processor.
Place the coil over the "MT" button on the remote.

Turn the processor off then back on by lifting the lever on the battery pack.

If the outer lights blink after you have turned your processor back on, your remote is now synced with your processor.

Your audio device may only accept "mono" plug. (Your audio cable is stereo.)
What is a stereo or mono plug?

Inexpensive "stereo-to-mono" adapters are available local electronics stores.
For most audio devices, you will need the standard 1/8" plug. Ask the sales associate for a 1/8" stereo to mono adapter.
