The built-in acoustic unit is a powerful high end fully digital amplification device.

The ear mould is similar to that of a conventional hearing aid. It contains no electronic parts and therefore no special adaptation to the system is needed. It can be exchanged easily and already existing ear moulds can also be used for the DUET.
