Community Outreach ProgramIn addition to serving those touched by hearing loss and implantation, MED‑EL is committed to human-interest efforts not related to the hearing implant industry. MED‑EL’s Community Outreach Program is designed to give back to the community in ways that are completely unrelated to MED‑EL’s business efforts. MED‑EL staff have volunteered with projects ranging from Habitat for Humanity to soup kitchens, and shelters. Additionally, MED‑EL has matched employee donations to organizations ranging from Urban Ministries to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
